Day 1

Old Belize

After arriving from the airport or from your pre – program, we start exploring Belize with a visit to Old Belize, a very beautiful museum on the history of the country.
In the late afternoon we arrive in our lodge “The Green Valley Inn”

Day 2

Xunantunich , Barton Creek Cave , San Ignacio

After breakfast, we head west to the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich – one of the most important ceremonial service sites of the classical period. On the way back we stop in San Ignacio for a stroll through the largest city in the west of Belize.

In the afternoon we pass a magnificent landscape on a trip through a settlement of the Mennonite community to the Barton Creek Cave. The settlers live without electricity, telephone and connection to the public water network. It is a big contrast to their fellow believers in Spanish Lookout. Finally we reach Barton Creek Cave. We explore this old Maya site in a canoe and learn about ancient Maya history. This Cave was used by the Maya to sacrifice for the rain god Chac. This tour is a remarkable experience.

Day 3

Actun Tunichil Muknal

Today’s visit to the Maya ceremonial site “Actun Tunichil Muknal” is certainly one of the main attractions in Belize. We swim into the entrance of the cave system. After about 1 Mile river walk and rock climbing we arrive in the main hall, where centuries old handicrafts, skulls and skeletons convey impressions of old Maya rituals.

Day 4

Mountain Pine Ridge , “Green Hill” butterfly ranch , Zipline in Calico Jacks Village

In the morning we set off for “Mountain Pine Ridge”.
On the way to the mountains we stop at Calico Jacks Village for a 90 minute zip line tour through the jungle. A great start in the day! After visiting the “Green Hill” butterfly ranch, we continue up into the mountains to the “Big Rock Falls” in the middle of the “Mountain Pine Ridge” nature reserve. We swim and relax at the foot of the waterfalls before we get back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5

Jaguar Paw

Early in the morning we set off to “Jaguar Paw” cave system. With large car tires (tubes) and headlamps equipped we walk through the jungle to the start of the tubing tour. Now we get in our tubes and let us drift through an impressive cave system for a about 1 hour. After this nice experience we bring you to the airport or connection program.
